pownce is where it’s at

I, like so many others have done facebook, twitter and more. Time and time again I find myself dissapointed. They all seem to be one end to the other. The one end being they have way too much and the other being they don’t quite have enough.

What defines a great web application is nothing short of a delicate balence of usability, style, intuitiveness and perhaps the most important no clutter. Pownce seem to have this hit this right on the mark. This wonderful micro-blogging combination social networking tool looks and feels great.

After spending a few moments on Pownce I was more than happy to shell out the mere $20.00 USD for one year with a pro account. Anyways after I got on there and fiddled around I decided there needed to be a nice Wordpress plugin to display my public Pownce notes, in short I wrote one.

dBeautifier beta 4

So as usual I have been hard at work… When I’m not playing WoW that is ;) I have a working version of dBeautifier beta 4 for Wordpress 2.2 as I stated before I have taken away some of the features and have changed others.

I have standerized a lot of things and there is no need for its own table in the db anymore. However I am still debaiting if I am going to count the number of downloads again. I just don’t think that that function really added anything to the plugin. However who knows I might bring it back.
